Come learn to Surf with So Cal Surf Lessons, it is a permitted, licensed, and insured surf school in Carlsbad ( in between Oceanside and Encinitas ) offering fun, safe, professional surf classes in beautiful North Carlsbad, San Diego . Our year round surf school provides all the equipment: wetsuits for your comfort, foam surf boards, and surfboard and bodyboard rentals. With basic physical ability, not only will you be up and riding in your first class, you’ll also be able to go out and catch waves on your own!! Throughout your surfing classes, your instructor will be with you at all times to guide you through the process of learning to catch and ride waves on your own.

A typical beginner lessons includes about 30 minutes of instruction on the beach, learning water safety, surf etiquette, standing up, and maneuvering through waves, etc. After your beach instruction you will have a 1.5 hours of surfing with a professional surf instructor. Your instructor will be with you 100% of the time guiding and teaching you how to surf.
